If I have a task that suddenly becomes Urgent or DO NOW, it should immediately shoot to the top of the Overview.
I had an Urgent task that didn't get finished because it got lost in my overview (I couldn't see it on my phone without scrolling).
I think a good sort order would be:
Thoughts?
I also think this might be a good sort order for regular lists -- maybe just as good as manual ordering.
Tasks in the Overview should be sorted by Urgency, then Due Date, then however they're sorted now.to Tasks in the Overview should be sorted first by priorityI think sorting by priority and then by due date would make sense.
Yes, and filtering tasks assigned to somebody else out from it, or even only showing tasks assigned to me. Currently the Overview is useless for us, containing hundreds of tasks in arbitrary order.
Any updates on this? I'm a little surprised this has been open for 2 years. Seems like it wouldn't be too hard to implement. If I have the time, would you accept a PR with the change?
You can set a filter for the tasks on the overview page - that also allows you to set a custom ordering.
I think you're thinking of a project in list view. In the Overview (top-left menu --> Overview), there doesn't seem to be any way that I can see to set a filter.
You need to create a saved filter first, then you can set it in your user settings. IIRC it's not yet released but available in unstable builds (and on try).
ah nice, seeing it in 0.22.1, guess this can be closed now :)
